EN HQ does exist, its just that its in JP, in the same office as JP HQ. Probably some desks clumped together in the office as the EN area.

HoloEN doesn't legally exist. Its an internal branch of Hololive, not its own separate legal entity. The only place where they can hire internal staff is JP.

Cover USA is being set up but afaik its for shipping merch. It'll be cheaper for Cover to use their existing office in JP and pay JP wages.

I'd presume they do their best to accommodate people in NA/EU time zones but at the same time that is kinda the reality of working for a company headquartered in a far-away time zone.

That said I get the feeling that most of the NA-based members are the sorts of people who stay up too damn late regardless of if the company asks them to so in terms of how it affects their sleep schedule it's probably not a huge deal for them.

It's a merch distribution and licensing branch. Possibly even doing the Nintendo thing of setting up a legal team there to be able to easily set up contacts for western side company collabs.
I don't think anything important(like their talents activities) are going to be there.

No, they don't accommodate for NA at all. They could attempt to do overseas meetings at 9 AM JP time and it would be a reasonable time to be in the office in Japan while being a reasonable time to be up for EST and PST in NA. Japs don't give a fuck. Of course this cuts into prime time streaming hours, but at least you're not fucking peoples sleep. Obviously there are meetings around this time, in other EN branches for Jap corpos they do get called into evening meetings, but still have the 3 AM meeting lurking somewhere.
