>From the writer of Gigi's Birthday Party
IRyS was supposed to be the vigilante; the reason why the vigilante had that whole "You can kill someone, but if you kill an innocent you kill yourself" thing was because she was supposed to have dual personality (based off her lore) being like, half angel and half devil. So the Angel side wouldn't be happy about killing someone innocent, for example. But then IRyS didn't respond in time so it was given to Fauna, and then she came back so they wrote her in another way.
And Mori was initially supposed to be the Cop; she was written to be the cop but when she told people she couldn't stay for the full duration she passed it on to IRyS, who could stay the full duration, because the role was important. So she wrote Mori as a bit character because she thought it'd be funny if Mori's character didn't realize it'd be a murder mystery. The reason why the Cop was also basically a mortician was BECAUSE it was supposed to be Mori's role since it was also tied to death. You know, because Mori is the grim reaper.
The skeleton that was on the receipt, that didn't arrive, was supposed to be a bit. The bit being that Elizabeth did end up downgrading on everything but the high quality skeleton. That she bought all the stuff for the party, but it wasn't the high quality stuff BUT the skeleton...except that didn't even arrive.
Fauna's guess was actually doubly a lucky one, because the Justice that dragged CC in wasn't even the Justice that were still in the gang now. So when she said "It was you who dragged CC away" she was incorrect, though correct on a technicality only because she was still the current Leader of Justice and still hadn't let CC go to go back to being Fauna's maid.
She realized that she didn't make it more obvious that it was a Halloween party on top of being Gigi's birthday party, so the skeleton joke didn't land all that well. She also realized that without giving Elizabeth the control over how the receipt got out it made it a bit more incriminating.
She was sad that Elizabeth's story didn't play out properly, but she was also glad that Fauna used her role properly as a vigilante because she found it so fucking funny, though it stressed them out a bit because of the timing. She still doesn't get how the skeleton was incriminating but she learned something from the whole scenario (don't make a joke of evidence) so it's fine.
Kronii's role had her know information on EVERYONE but because of her win condition she wasn't really allowed to say anything, just try and nudge people along instead. Which was why Elizabeth killed her.
>which of the characters surprised you the most in the way it played out?
Elizabeth surprised her in terms of dying early. Nerissa surprised her because she didn't know she would get so much heat for being a harlot and sleeping around with people. IRyS didn't surprise her; she played well with her role. Fauna surprised her with how fast she came to the conclusion; she has good intuition. Bae didn't surprise her, Kronii didn't surprise her, CC surprised her because she had no real defense and yet she managed to still stay away from the vote for the most part despite having no alibi and evidence against her. No one else really surprised her. No one did anything insane to the level that she didn't expect, except Fauna shooting Elizabeth early.
If Liz survived until the end the entire house would've blown up with Pipe bombs that Gigi had hidden in the walls.
