there are valid reasons to hate /vt/ fanbases, there are reasons to be disappointed with Cover, but I just can't see it reasonable to make the jump to COVER DELENDA EST immediately from these things.
I understand dramafags and why they started hardcore anti-ing Niji or NijiEN, cause there was fuckery to begin with and the damage control was some of the worst done in all of entertainment history, but Cover has had a track record of learning from fuckups and treating their talents as well as a huge monolithic and faceless japanese corp could.
It makes way more sense to me to think that the fags making catalog bait threads every single time anything happens that presents even the slightest chance to shit on cover are concern trolls, cause fans wouldn't go anti over what Cover has done in terms of degree, and if they were fans they'd show some hesitation with regard to wanting to burn the entire thing down, unlike the concern trolls and vultures that go for the jugular immediately.
I really do think they just covet their spot, cause why would they even care about the girls so much to begin with?
If they really, actually believed in muh freedom and it wasn't just a stalking horse they use for tribalism they'd have been watching indies from the getgo
