To be masculine and manly is to be strong, hardworking, resourceful, decisive, and so on, all of which are traits that make a good husband and father. To be feminine and womanly is to be loving, nurturing, well-maintained, a skilled homemaker, and so on, all of which are traits that make a good wife and mother. It all revolves around marriage and family. When you start going down the path of gays and lesbians that whole framework of masculine and feminine becomes meaningless, which is what opens the door to gender being a spectrum upon which anyone can be anything as long as they say so. Trannies are not so much the cause of this as they are another consequence of it. This is why it always starts with the L and the G.
