Elira was always simping over Pomu, but whenever Pomu reciprocated, she turned into a wet towel. Utterly boring. Pomu tried repeatedly to establish some k8nd of dynamic that went past Elira pretending to dote on her, but it was never really entertaining. Just look at that one Minecraft stream where Pomu turned herself into a yandere glitch fairy. Elira had no idea how to capitalize off that kino. When Selen came along, Pomu just naturally gravitated towards her, because Selen bit back and actually knew how to wrangle her.
Finana tried to force Oceania too hard without really having the character backbone to develop a friendly rivalry with Selen, not that it wouldn't have come across like her copying Selen.
Rosemi, despite her super cutesy predisposition, managed to stand up to Selens brushless, which ended up allowing her to slip into a fun group dynamic with Pomu and her teaming up to take on Selen sometimes.
Everyone else really just seemed too generic on their own.
