to be fair dairy is literally purpose-made harmless nutrition that exists solely to be eaten by other animals. it makes no sense to make some kind of ethics argument other than "the poor cows, they.. they make them stand there while they milk them!" and/or arguing it props up the beef industry because the cows get recycled for that when they get too old. I mean the average farmer is not going to have a funeral with honors for every dairy cow and keep a cow cemetery. what else are they gonna do with them.
