It'll always be weird and dishonest-looking for me to witness someone, particularly any sort of public figure/influencer, saying "oh I'm from this place (latino, korean, japanese, chinese, jew, lebanese etc)", cause if we were to deduce the historical context plus circumstances, the person and their family are probably on their 3rd~5th generation or so on, living in their current region/country.
Particularly I doubt very much she's "daughter of a imigrant parent/2nd generation".
