She didn't, she wanted to officially graduate, they didn't let her. To make it as clear as possible to her fans that it actually WAS a graduation from Hololive, she debuted soon after on a big scale. There's no fucking way she'll ever have anything to do with Hololive again. They'll be keeping a close eye on her and the stuff she says about her experience with Cover. It's already looking grim.

Fucking retard. What I'm saying is behind the scenes, Ame DID officially graduate and end her contract, but that's not the image Hololive want to share because it softens the blow. Even fucking Niji are using this tactic now. She's not being forced to do anything. She won't have anything to do with them again. Ever. There will be a few things coming out over the next 3-4 months that she had previously worked on whilst she was still in Hololive, but then all will stop. She 100% fully ended her contract and has no ties with them and it's only retards that believe the affiliate slop.
