The brainwashing did work on Pomu and Selen for a time, and neither of them expected the fans they made while in Niji to follow them after they left. Their fans did follow them; and between their fans following them, and the extremely public nature of Selen's termination, the brainwashing on the other EN livers is no longer and can never again be 100% effective. Sunny is in the process of showing Mogu and the others that in terms of the presence of post-Niji success, Mint and Doki were not flukes.
Mint and Doki might be a pair of one-offs in terms of the AMOUNT of their success, but they are not unique in terms of the FACT of their success. All of the ex-Niji EN members are more successful now than they were when they were in, with the possible exception of Quinn who is a cunt (and he's only an exception if you don't count his IRL streams)
