Honestly it's fucking wild how much Twitch has been able to get away with simply because... nobody big enough notices? Like them being blatantly anti-semitic and pro-arab has been an issue for a year, but only now do advertisers notice and threaten to pull out?
The same thing with the blatant copyright infringement, there are entire channels that re-stream movies on a 24/7 loop not to mention bigger streamers also doing it to boost their numbers. And the reason they get away with it because nobody cares about the copyright infringement so Twitch has 0 pressure to ban them. It's just insane to compare this to Youtube who got absolutely ASSFUCKED all throughout the courts years ago because of their ability to host infringing material, and all their super advanced AI shit and fingerprinting is something they were forced into implementing because of that. Meanwhile Twitch has to do nothing because I guess these days IP holders don't actually give a fuck anymore.
