Imagine throwing money at girls who only momentarily acknowledge your existence but will have already forgotten you by the time she ends the stream. They remember a handful of their viewers out of thousands and even tens of thousands, but ONLY the ones who donate enough AND made an impression on them. In the end though, their viewers are just numbers to them. Yes, all of them, including your oshi. Viewers are a potential source of income and that's all they will ever be to them. Especially the ones who does vtubing for a living.
