The ultimate threat within the group still feels like the Ancient Ones and Ina is doing her best to keep them under control, and so far they're pleased with her. It's like a good timeline Amelia found after seeing many others be consumed but now Ina is one of her closest friends. It's allowed the five of them to grow close together and learn to handle prepare for any problems.
Now Kronii comes along and is the Warden of Time. She's like someone who could challenge Amelia, and maybe the watch even originated with Kronii...but she will be convinced to let Amelia keep it.
The Council has their own business which vastly exceeds the boundaries of Earth (or even this reality) so them coming to this world is a small part of what they do. Myth is something very grounded to this planet because they are human legends and they now live
among us. (I'm so sorry.)There doesn't need to be a big overlap between the two. Just awareness of each other's existence and some shared interactions are enough for lore.
