>>88849625I always laugh at this, like that one infographic with the US and UK, but those cases are handled WAY better in the west and more seriously and you can even go after the offender YEARS later, in Japan if they don't catch the guy that day the police will just shrug and say "oh well it's too bothersome to find a person matching your description and he's probably long gone" even things that go further like rape get a min 2 years and max 5 lol.
