For whatever reason, YT has decided that ASMR streams (especially vtuber ASMR streams) are inherently sexual, and has decided NOT to update the community guidelines to reflect this change in their content moderation. This change seems to have started around June of this year, but is also affecting ASMR content from before then - meaning that any ASMR streams created now, even if they are not even remotely sexual, can get removed for sexual content and even get channels deleted.
Incidentally, this change happened right after the Bunny Garden dev decided to revoke stream and vod perms globally to stop people from showing the game's ASMR scenes (none of which violate the letter of YT TOS). This is very likely a coincidence, and not related in any way except for the timing and for the fact that ASMR is involved; kinda like how Rushia getting fired from Hololive and Russia invading eastern Ukraine happened at around the same time but are otherwise unrelated.
