Ah yes, just like Dave The Diver is an indie game even though it was literally published by a multi-billion dollar company. Fuck off with this bullshit already. You can't have your cake and eat it too. You can't call vtuber corpos a net negative while also clamoring for the biggest names to go independent. It just dilutes the term and turns indie vtubing into just as much of a rigged game as everything else. Not like it wasn't already, of course, but Dooby has undoubtedly cannibalized an already saturated market in ways that no corpo has ever done. And people just reward her even more for setting what is objectively a shitty precedent.

This is why I will never watch or even glance at a single Dooby stream. I still haven't even visited her channel nor do I care about how many viewers she gets. The entire premise of her existence is cynical and shows complete disrespect for vtubing as a whole.
