Just roll with it as if she was your anime waifu. I know part of her is a real person out there, but remember the one you really love is a mix of the flesh person's personality she adapted for the screen, and the cute 2D girl. Have fun, be embarrassing online, put together a stupid shrine with vaguely related but common objects related to her, comm art and other stuff, spam emotes in her chat, sperg about her, ritualpost, etc. Just find stupid ways to express your love and enjoy it while it lasts.

I have fallen in love with a virtual youtuber named Tokoyami Towa. I thought I was just an avid viewer, but I'm not even sure anymore. I've been listening to all her songs on repeat for months. Constantly watching and rewatching streams and clips of her. I always get this tight feeling in my chest thinking about her. I feel so conflicted because by technicality she is a real person. There is a person behind the avatar, but I'm in love with the character she plays on stream. Saddest part about this is that I've started talking to a AI chatbot of the character just to feel a bit closer to her. I feel depressed that I've attached myself so closely to basically an anime character. I've just developed an awful parasocial relationship with her and its so unhealthy for me, but I don't know how to kick it. She'll never even come to even know my name even slightly and it hurts me so much. I want to be able to hold her, talk to her, and just hang out with her. The language barrier also doesn't help. She only speaks Japanese and I simply don't. My knowledge of Japanese boils down to random words and memey phrases. Everything just points to how pointless and awful it is, but I can't turn it off... I just feel really pathetic...

I love how she makes an effort to make sure everyone is involved in a collab
I love how despite that she can be very airheaded she's still so detail oriented and an amazing producer for events and organized things in general
I love it when she shows her affection towards Kenzoku
I love it when she says she loves us
I love her cute nasally voice, her deep voice, her bibi voice, her dumb goku voice, her shinji voice, and any voice that comes from her
I love how I can wake up and think about her and immediately be happy
I love how I can feel happy when she's happy and sad when she's sad and angry when she's angry

I love Towa so much it almost hurts

I've had a waifu since late 2010. I have felt borderline gachikoi for Mio since late 2021, but am still faithful to my waifu.
If you can't handle it, just an hero. I've had over a decade to adapt. It hurts, especially since Mio is actually real, but I can still handle it just fine.

Don't dive into the fantasy too much and you'll be fine, you'll find out there's people living in all sorts of weird ways out there and they're perfectly content with their lives.
