Anime is a lot more popular now than I remember or when I was actively involved in the scene, so in the back of my mind it's still a niche, and then streaming as a character is a niche within a niche. I dunno, it seems harder to explain to people that you watch an anime girl talk about her streaming setup and plans compared to a real person, but that might be just because of my line of work and people I hang out with
