One of the main appeals of VSpo is that they interact with the pros and semi-pro esports orgs, which are majority male. So you get something that is almost unique to vtubing, which is the fabled teetee between boys and girls. Nijisanji has this too, but not nearly as frequently. OreApo is the standout example of this (Hinano and Kamito, ex-pro vtuber (who says he isn't a vtuber)).
Most of the girls are great comedians - Nazuna, Beni, Hinano, Lisa, and Sumire in particular. This leads to great banter. It's rare to have dead air, even when they are grouped with people they have never met before.
The nature of what they do means they all have to interact with loads of different people all the time. So things never get stale. One day Beni is doing scrims with someone from CR and a minecraft streamer, the next she's playing battlefield with people from a dozen different orgs.
This just couldn't happen in Hololive as it is - they would have to be a separate branch with different rules.
