>>89087985Stances like this are why I sometimes reassess my stance on my total boycott of Niji EN talents. Every once in a while, I'll visit a stream or watch a clip before reminding myself not to do so again, and so I'll go weeks or months at a time without directly interacting with any Niji EN talent's material. I have some sympathy for the fans of talents that are far more disconnected with the termination than the core crew to get mad at, and I'm generally apathetic or neutral on talents I used to see favorably like Maria or Ren.
But every now and then, I ask myself about what future we might have had if Selen had succeeded in necking herself. Imagining that Anycolor would have REVELED in the money they would've raked in from playing up the sympathy points when it is now well-known how much they don't give a shit about their talents disgusts me.
I do not boycott because I cannot stand the talents. I do not boycott because I am angry or disappointed. I boycott because strict, harsh punishments are the tried-and-true method to teach idiotic fuckheads a lesson. And in this case, Anycolor will not learn a lesson if its moneymakers do not make money.
