In the remake, while they were VERY good at building atmosphere, they removed the stress from the tank controls and camera angles. Granted, it's more fun to PLAY now, but it feels dramatically more "gamey" with how easy it is to fight now.
I consider the remake better, but it's definitely less scary because nothing is a threat anymore. Kinda the same problem Homecoming had.
