It wasn't malicious nor intending to leech; she put forth 3 options, some people in chat started spamming 25p, it caught on and snowballed until more than half the chat was spamming it. Her plan was for chat to spam the 3 names she came up with and she/her manager would stop chat at a random point and pick the option that was there (if you watch Miko, you'd know she has done this before too). Obviously, with the majority of chat typing 25p, it was gonna be selected. In fact, I'm pretty sure she rolled twice and got it both times so she gave up and went with it. Anyone with some awareness of how things go knew they'd rescind it after the stream, she just accepted it temporarily because she had no time, she literally said so.
Personally, I had no problem with 25p, I even found it endearing (imitation-flattery etc), it just shows the influence Miko and 35p have in the Hololive fandom. However, as you say later on
