>>89189550Holo and all corpos suffer from the same problem which is that if one set of models gets a rigging upgrade, everyone has to get an upgrade otherwise the girls and fans will screech about favouritism. For Holo with like 90+ models and high quality rigging on the level of Lilly being about $5K, that's a bill of $450,000 which is hard to justify to investors when most Hololive fans weren't asking for better rigging because they don't watch indies and aren't really exposed to how far behind Holo really is.
Then on top of that, riggers at that level are hard to find and even then, rigging is a long tedious process which can take months. In addition to that, soke of the girl's models would need to be redone to accomodate all the new rig tech.
Holo is too big and they didn't invest in setting up a continual model/rig improvement pipeline so they just continue to lag and lag until the bill is so large they can't justify doing anything.
