worth noting that vtubers are just autism central - both for fans and for vtubers themselves
there are a lot of things about it that appeal heavily to autists - yes, both in being a fan and in being a vtuber
so you should expect to find a lot of autists in the sphere, some diagnosed and some not
if all vtubers were to get a through mental health check up, I'd expect at least 1 in 5 to get "tism" slapped onto them hard, and at least that many more would be masked by comorbidities, or "maybe on the spectrum, but not strongly enough to warrant a diagnosis"
it's not that big of a deal, really
you can get medicated for a lot of things, but autism just runs far too deep, so getting a diagnosis doesn't even give you any meds that would help
and things like accommodations for autism suck - you're either so far gone that it's not going to help, or are functioning enough that announcing your tism is probably not worth the stigma
