Breaking NDA is something a company cannot be lenient on, If there is proof the the company let her break an NDA and only get a slap on the wrist, it could lead to slippery slope for the company as well as legal and reputation damage. if Japan is anything like the US, they could have gone so much harder on her with major legal trouble and heavy fines. she got off easy.
