To be Christian you need to believe the following
1. You have sin and because of your sin you deserve to die, for the wages of sin are death, even if you've only told 1 lie in your life
2. Jesus paid the price of of your sins already, and He could do that because He was sent by God and because He was God
Once you do that you can start learning more about God and you should start reading the Bible! God will strengthen your faith and will reveal Himself if you ask and have faith
The requirement of entry into heaven are perfection and sinlessness, it's impossible for us, but God doesn't count on us not stumbling and is instead patient with us
If you have faith in the Lord and start desiring righteous then your unrighteousness will not be accounted in your name, but in the name of your sin! The Lord God will be with you always, in fact, He already is with you! It is written that He never leaves your side
