>>89701944Anon, I’ve been watching her for a long time, and I can’t even count how many times I’ve caught her lying about the dumbest shit imaginable, like all those times she claimed she didn’t save her Twitch VODs because of "tech issues" when in reality, she just didn’t like certain parts and was too lazy to edit them out
It's the kind of stuff that you just shrug and move on because it’s dumb shit and it literally doesn't matter. But then, one day, Sayu casually mentioned that as a kid, she was a compulsive liar and would lie about literally everything. It’s such a strange thing to admit, but it does make you understand her behavior a little better
Then, you start noticing bigger red flags, like how Sayu suddenly said Quinn didn’t dox her, despite previously alluding multiple times to him being a terrible person and being fine with her community hating him. And then there’s all the Piprup stuff, but I’m not even going to bother getting into that.
Or take the NOA situation: she went to China to meet with them and even posted a random picture of a 3D mocap suit. But, of course, when she came back, another NOA drama was unfolding, so she claimed she was angry and disappointed with them, conveniently leaving out the fact that by then, she had already signed the contract
It's fine if you don't want to acknowledge it, but Sayu has always been this way. I don't think she's a bad person, but she's extremely selfish and doesn't care about her community as much as she claims. Or at least not in the way they might hope
>when everyone knows her biggest flaw is speaking her mind with no filterAnon, her biggest flaw is her shitty personality. Here's an example no one has brought up yet: her watchalongs. I eventually stopped watching movies with her and the community because I got tired of how awkward things would get afterward. There were far too many times when members shared their thoughts on the movie, and Sayu didn’t hesitate to shit on them if she thought they were trying to sound smart, didn’t like their jokes, or simply disagreed with their opinions
Don't get me wrong, I don't even dislike Sayu. I was one of the people who kept making her generals on this board and did my best to defend her as much as I could, so I get where you're coming from. But the thing is, I eventually just got tired of making excuses for her and pretending I wasn't seeing the red flags
Now, I know that nothing I say will change your opinion about her, but I at least wanted to explain where my "blatant attempts to spin Sayu as someone who's constantly lying and manipulative" are coming from
