>>89698097The problems of NijiEN management are all downstream of Nijisanji management in general. The whole culture is rotten, meaning the people in charge of choosing people are rotten.
Put simply, all their decision making is typical of people who don't actually care about or value what it is they are doing, and that starts with Riku-chan himself.
They cheap out on talent-facing support staff while splurging on sinecures for more parasitic paper pushers at HQ.
They indiscriminate about talent itself, shotgunning 'acceleration' in hopes of landing a 'hit', while not grasping that all the 'misses' don't simply go away, they make literally everything worse, because personnel is policy, and now you have shitters on the inside poisoning everything. If you have a 10 man team of 9 great guys and 1 shitter, you have 1 shitty team. And they have a lot more than just one shitter. On every level of organization.
They are bureaucratic managerial proceduralists where everything with vitality is strangled in red tape, which is a cancer that any large scale organization has to deal with or suffer from, but which they embody as a personification.
You have situations like one single staff-san handling the personal assistance of an entire branch, never mind individual talents. People and operations in general are highly siloed with little cross-talk or community or overlap of discourses. Everyone is off in their own box unawares of what everyone else is doing. Ignorance and miscommunications run rampant. The most important company values are sycophancy and backstabbing to secure your own position in the company sinecures. The last thing that pays is honesty in anything. Never be the first person to propose anything unless it is to double down on something you were already doing even harder. Asscovering is the word of the day. In other words everyone is a hack to whom 'vtubing' as such is irrelevant or an impediment even. On and on.
