I think it's funny you harp on Death Sentence for being shallow and going too hard on the angst when YNS comes off to me as being extremely edgy solely for the sake of it. I think the whole song kind of sucks, frankly. The track feels like two different meh songs haphazardly slapped together, I'm not into the lyrics at all, and I thought her vocals were pretty rough at parts (again, funny you criticize her growling in WW but this song has a fucking Tom scream). I was also pretty disappointed because Here Comes Hope and PSYCHO are great and I was hoping for a cool edgy CHaD trilogy but this song just completely missed me. Also the beginning spoken part reminds me of a Lonely Island song which takes me out of it before it even starts and I can't think of anything else when I listen to it.
In hindsight I'm also not super into Black Sheep for some similar reasons to a lesser degree. I hesitate to be super hard on the lyrics because I know they're very real but I think they're too blunt compared to how 6FU and LFDL handle their subject matter. When she talked earlier this year about feeling like her lyrics had fallen off a bit in the last few releases, these two songs came to mind for me in addition to some of the filler tracks from Sinderella.
No big criticisms for Carousel other than I think the middle section with the staredown kind of fucks with the momentum, but the ending breakdown is one of my favorite sections of Mori music ever and saves it.
