>>89738329Youtube algo is simple as fuck to understand. If you watch something, then the algo will shill that stuff or things that are adjacent to what you're watching. It also sometimes picks things outside of what you normally watch to figure out if you want to watch that.
My youtube front page is full of Japanese speaking vtubers because that's what I watch. If your youtube front page is full of crap like Shapiro and Fox news you either have no history enabled and/or you're not using the "don't recommend" channel feature to curate your front page. I didn't even need that feature on my other account, it just never recommends that crap. The algo has for example put Smug Alana on my front page before, but since I never click that it doesn't do it often. I'm not offended by getting vtubers on my youtube front page anyway.
>>89738583it literally doesn't, when I search for HololiveEN it just floods me with HololiveEN clips. If I just search for Hololive and select live, it gives me the actual Hololive streamers currently live... 0 of them are EN, which I suspect is accurate.
