Getting jealous of Luxiem and thinking they could do the same thing was like a pizza place starting to make hamburgers because there is a successful burger joint next door. That and stupid customers who said they would totally eat the hamburgers the pizza place would make emboldening them to actually do it. Unsurprisingly they do not perform remotely as well as what they actually are known for and good at, pizza.
