in japanese he says "kowashitaku naru no yo" and it got translated in the english captions to "i want to see you all put down" which i think is going a little too far
i also think his final scenes are compelling, just didnt have enough context or foreshadowing before the game's finale unlike say kiwami 1 where nishiki's motivations are gradually developed the entire game from start to finish
