Did they change how the stage boss fan letter drop works or is it and effect from the casino item?
You now automatically pick up ALL stage boss fan letters (so not just the final boss) so you don't need to worry on missing out on them if you're not playing on endless.

Leaker from the devteam here, Holocure 0.8 update will feature a Advent + Justice and a new mechanic called 'Teamup' which will allow you to select any 2 holomems and combine them into a single unit. This was initially planned as a feature unique to Fuwamoco but implemented to the whole cast as a unique game mode.

- Both characters will move together on screen and alternate between their basic weapon attacks.
- Basic weapon attacks are upgraded simultaneously, but only up to 4 skills can be chosen from the combined pool of both characters. This allows for even more unique and emergent gameplay.
- Specials on the other hand become a unique combination attack, although it mostly reuses the existing animations.
- Some teamups will have a unique title displayed during character selection, such as MiComet / FubuMio / etc. (As a joke, almost all teamups with Irys is just the other member + Rys)

Teamups also tie into another feature in Holohouse, where the character you team up the most with when playing Holohouse as a certain character, will visit more often and even enter your house. There's even gifts that can drop randomly from fans that you can use to boost your relationship.

There's even more planned but I don't want to spoil it all, if I do Kay Yu will force me to work another week of unpaid overtime to nerf stamps while he draws more anime tiddies for some new isekai-slop, so look forward to the next update.

Next update it'll be in its own category of similarly cruel achievements that don't count for 100% completion.
Which is very stupid because if you have achievements left to complete, then you don't have 100% completion, even if the game tells you that you do. It's condescending in a way, like the game and its developer is going 'aww there there here's your 100% medal, cause I know you're so bad you're never getting those achievements anyway, we just won't count them'

Nah, I got over 100% in DKC, Jak, and Dust. But those give you like 3-5% extra tops. and functionally their over 100% is their 100%. What kay wants is to make an entirely separate category of achievements. Not a couple, a category. What's the final tally going to be then, 132%? Just don't separate them, make them all required for 100% instead of granting a participation award to people who only complete 70% of all achievements.

That's a different game entirely. I wish I could say the same of holojump king so I would not have to touch it ever again, but unfortunately he decided to stick it inside holocure and will make an expansion for it.
Funny how moving those cruel achievements to their own category that doesn't count for 100% is a bandaid solution to a problem he created. Because yeah beating holojump king should be an achievement, if people wanted to play jump king. They don't. They want to play vampire survivors with a vtuber skin and a few fishing, housing, and gambling minigames. But by forcing it into cure, he forced everyone who wanted 100% to play a completely different game, and after seeing the negative reactions he's gonna make it not count, except it's too late because even if it doesn't it's still in the game so anyone who wants true 100% will have to beat it.
If the tower had been like break, a completely separate game, no one would've complained. But I guess after seeing everyone ignore break and beg for cure instead, he just had to make sure that this other game was unavoidable by sticking it inside a different, more popular one.

I always use pufferfish on s4h and I've never had problems with lightning even without dash. Haven't played Anya the slowest character yet though, but I've played 1.3 spd characters and they have no problems getting out.

In my case, it's because practically everything that gives an achievement in this game also gives you a reward too. Gachikoing every character takes forever, but apart from the achievement, you also get them buffed. Fishing gives you a lot of coins. And like every other general achievement unlocks a weapon or item. By the time you're left with the ones that don't give rewards and are actually hard and/or annoying to get, you're already 90% done. Might as well finish it.

There's achievements for achieving Gachikoi, but gachikoi itself isn't an achievement, it's an ingame mechanic. The cheevo reward is some meaningless amount of coin.

I was referring to achievements that have no associated reward other than a few measly coins. Getting the math quiz right in S4H, or beating a hard stage without getting hit by bullets.
For ones like gachikoing or fishing, there is a reward and an achievement. For others, like getting 500% pickup, the reward is IN the achievement. Those two kinds are the ones you gun for, and by the time you're done with them, you're so close to getting 100% that you might as well finish the rest.

I do like the sense of pride I get when I see the entire checklist complete, so I'm willing to tolerate 3 hours of misery from the tower. Each level up is an extra stat point you can use in the fighting pit. I'd say that mid to high 40s should work fine too, but your win rate won't be as high.

The hardest fish to farm are the most "common" ones though. They never drop, need 10000x to refill and when they do drop they drop like 6. Sharks are way more common while shrimp and salmon are bricks.

Gen 5 and 6 didn't get anything in this version because they're the next ones on queue, but for Advent at least we got cameos, an item, and a stamp.
It's funny how two versions prior, we got stage 3, which had references to gen 3, and then we got them two updates later; now we're getting advent references knowing they'll be added two updates later. I'm actually going to assume that next update will have regloss cameos because they'll come after advent + justice, so again, two updates later.
