>>89922872That's because Yahoo was the first service to handle all of Japan's transportation network properly. If you needed to go anywhere, Yahoo would tell you which train/bus/metro to take, which stations to stop at, all of that at the exact time down to the minute.
Google Maps eventually fixed their shit but it was too late, habits are hard to change.
