Akashiya Sanma, a host for a famous TV comedy show "Nobody knows Akashiya Sanma", will start a new project called "Sanma becomes a VTuber" where he will experience how is it like to be a VTuber by becoming a white pettan girl named Hatsudomari Nene

He will also collab with 2 Niji livers (Salome and Hoshikawa) and 3 Holomembers (Fubuki, Miko and Marine)

I sort of understand why Nijisanji would go along with that but why is Hololive taking this risk? The guy is a comedian so he is definitely going to make some jokes about the vtuber industry. Maybe he will keep it clean but a lot of comedians like to play with fire.

I mean, jokes are just like a slight jab or a tame "insult" about something that is walking on the borderline between "Haha funny" and "Damn that's tone deaf disrespectful", and professional comedians usually try their best to not fall on the right side like the ones who make jokes about racism without sounding racist

I predict that the joke will be "Damn look how much money I made by becoming a girl" or anything that is relatable to VTubers struggles. And I don't think he will pull the "Whoopsie I got face revealed" because that is super taboo at least in JPVTuber scene

Look I know there are old fags who dislike VTubers because they are killing TV shows and new fags who look down on TV cables because "VTuber is the new norm".
