Phase-Connect's frontliner's spicy noodle streams got as many viewers as PRISM Project's frontliner gets normally, despite the latter being almost twice as big.

Two things.
1) Originally, Mukbang was a different kind of disgusting, namely 3D GFE, with the truly enormous portions only becoming the standard later on. It was closer to a virtual dinner date than feederism bait.
2) Drawing parallels between a stream about inducing pain and surmounting it (or failing) and mukbang is somewhat odd to me.

I don't mind them as long as they are an excuse for more content, like Lazulight just having a comfy collab on top of it or Rosemi doing it as a part of karaoke + additional stuff. I think I once caught an indie streamer just eating them and suffering, felt kinda akward to watch.
