I think Chompi is saying the problem with ARK is it's often empty. This is common when you can't explore properly. ARK has this problem where new things don't spawn unless you enter render for them. Fish are especially bad in this way. Sharks too. Very astute observation from Chompi.

Chompi says she wants to be a dinosaur hunter. She wants to hunt them a lot. If this is her goal I would suggest crafting a few torches, and starting out killing compies around red ob. Compy, dilo, and using their corpses to beef with magnuras. The torch is a very effective tool of war if you craft enough of them, and the cost isn't very high.

Seems as though early game Chompi, and the girls are suffering from raptors harassing them. This can be remedied by crafting torches to drop in a giant circle to make a central meeting place then using the xb from crafting torches to build thatch structures to tank the raptors aggro while they attack the raptors.

Dedicated servers keep the entire map loaded at all times so it shouldn't be an issue for VHistoric.
Although, if they are shutting down the server frequently then all the "progress" towards trees and stuff respawning would be lost because it's not included in the save data. In that case it could take a few hours for those things to respawn after they start the server again. Unless the staff boosted the respawn rates.

They suggest this for basic maintenance. The tutorials could be off. Anyways ark is famous for needing high maintenance on both multi and single player. Usually the problem in single player is that new resources won't respawn, but you can often skip maintenance by relying on supply drops, and I guess if you know where to find them then the beever dams.

With high speed fall damage is a very common problem that can be remedied with parachutes. Meeta might want to place a few thatch trash fences around her base to tank any sabertooths that follow her home. If they aggro the thatch it should give her time to plan on how she wants to handle it while it's distracted by the thatch structures.

The preserving bin is only as good as a tame, or feeding trough for preventing food spoilage. The main reason for the preserving bin is for making jerky meat. Jerky is a famously proficient food for raising baby dinosaurs as the jerky does less food points meaning a smaller starve point requirement is needed to activate an eat than raw meat. Though it looks like team Meeta probably won't be raising carnivores soon so the jerky is probably best used for human consumption, or kibble. Probably for human consumption though. This map doesn't seem to have a deep sea area so it might be difficult to find basils to milk for oil. I would guess based on the surrounding monkeys Meeta finds that on this map the most efficient oil farm is a monkey tower with dung beetles at the bottom level.
