The isolation questions are all about how much you prefer/feel comfortable being alone in the comfort of your house as opposed to in the company of others in public spaces. The higher the score, the more of a Shut-in you are and prefer to be alone.
The emotional questions are all about how much you seek emotional warmth with the people in your life. The higher the score, the less your desire to want to hang out with family or friends.
