Light smells work better in the summer, because heavy shit makes you smell like a sweating Indian spice rack. There's more scents that are divided by Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer. Nautica Voyage is also cheapo and smells kind of like a perfume green apple, that's like $20 bucks.
Personally I prefer winter scents because they've got manly vibes like dark wood and tobacco, which is comfy when it's cold.
