>>90282571Honestly with the way they describe this category vedal will always be the only real choice for it if they kept allowing him, and with how feverish the swarm is it's almost impossible for anyone else to win. There's just a bunch of different technologies coming together to make neuro work as a vtuber and it's the only one I would even really consider "vtubing tech".
3D environment stuff like what dooby and zen do is cool but they're really not tech focused, it's like voting for a normal vtuber for having good rigging.
Both Shindigs and Uwo do some really cool stuff, but it's nothing really specific to vtubing or the technology involved with it. Shindigs is basically dougdoug with a pngtuber model and uwo just makes wacky shit also with a pngtuber model, it's not really innovating the technology in any way.
They should really rephrase the description because it's a really muddy category with no clear boundaries. Is it vtubers with technology focused stream content or vtubers with good technology? With the nominations they allow it's not even clear and makes for some bad comparisons.
