It probably spooked her out to a degree and ever since she's been doing nothing but purposefully letting the re-debut hype wave die. At the same time she's monetizing aggressively which betrays to me she wants to only have the absolutely eternally loyal die-hard fans as her new core and go from there while having them pay for her new projects.
Ideally, she wants any tourist gone, gachis paying and her new career unfolding in such a way no one could dare saying she didn't do it all on her own. Hubris as the driving force? Who knows.
