Reps take too long and aren't lucrative enough for a man. Western vtubing is going the way of western streaming now that the hype is dead. Western and chink culture are just too pozzed by MUH AUTHORITARIAN RELIGIOUS IMPERIALISM for those cultures to produce good content, because good content comes from the kind of trial and error only found in more creatively free environments.
This is why weebs exist, because Japan still values creative freedom for the moment. But Japanese streamers have that gosh darn language filter, so it's just more practical and convenient to lean towards going back to big budget preproduced content that comes with either official or fan subtitles. I just can't be bothered trying to read live translations in a chat and watch a stream at the same time. I only have two eyes. And I'm not really interested in a girlfriend I can't fuck, because that defeats the point. Oh well. It's been a decreasingly fun year while it lasted.
