I think either you're misunderstanding me or I am misunderstanding you. I'm seeing they should ride this vtuber wave out for a few years and commit to it full time for those few years. Not a lifetime career obviously because this fad may die soon but if she has the opportunity to do it then why not do it. Once it crashes then she can consider other opportunities.
This whole CV building thing you keep talking about is weird. I was a Neet in my early 20s, went back to college and picked a practical degree, and landed a decent job. I don't think any of the part time work I did in that period of time mattered to the people scanning my resume.
And great story about your brother but I don't really know what to make of it. My brother became addicted to heroin early in life and will forever carry that burden. So yea there's my anecdotal evidence.
