While they don't make much from streams--not anymore, at least--the members of the clique have negotiated better contracts for merchandise and so now make more money that way than they had been making in supas. Meanwhile, non-clique NijiEN livers get stuck both with limited supas and the ol' 2% on merch. Only by making a lot of money from supas--like the ILUNA girls--can you be in an okay situation. And even then, their situation isn't great, because while they do have a decent base in terms of fan numbers and revenue, they still have to fight against management (as opposed to Elira & Co., who work with it/are it).
