These big collabs will only naturally work if you have a perfect balance of characters. You need a leader, two or more chaotic characters, a straight man, a noob, and the rest can be whatever because they will be carried. Gen5xHoloEn works because they have KiaraxBotan to lead, NenexPolka to do random shit, Amelia or Ina as the straightman, and Mori as the noob. Lamy was carried but she's cute so I forgive her. The HoloENxIDxJP collab did not have a natural leader. Suisei tried but her English was not enough and most of the players were Noobs. Worse is that a lot were passive noobs.
Many Among US collabs or any group collabs really understand this dynamic so that is why you see certain people would drive the conversation. The latest Sora Among Us collab had Sora acting as the leader. If it was with different people like Botan, Miko or Fubuki, we would see something different.
