This is something that's been on my mind for a long time, but I wanted to gather enough proof before making a post about it. Many dads have probably already noticed signs of this; Beatani is not Japanese, and the evidence for this is overwhelming. At first, everyone took her being Japanese at face value because she streamed in Japanese when she started, and because her Japanese is fluent. But as we've gotten to know her better, it has gotten very hard to ignore all the evidence pointing otherwise. The most obvious proof is the level of her English. Most Japanese people don't speak English at all, yet she's somehow fluent at it. She also claimed to have learned it all in school. The girl with ADHD somehow learned the language effortlessly while many highly intelligent Japanese don't learn it despite spending all their free time studying it? She's obviously lying, but why? The reason is most likely that she learned it from her family as she was growing up. She can't tell this to us because it would reveal the fact that she's not Japanese.
In addition to being too fluent at English, she also picks up words and phrases too quickly. She hears something once and she memorizes it. Remember, this is the same person who forgets everything, including the contents of her past streams. On average, you need to hear a new word 28 times to remember it. The only way it's possible for her to memorize words so fast is if she already knows them and only pretends not to. We already have proof of her pretending to suck at English. In her first streams, she typed everything she heard/said into translator while pretending not to understand English. Suddenly, a few streams later she understood everything perfectly. She is fully capable of speaking English at native level if she wants to.
It also doesn't make sense for a Japanese person to be mainly streaming in English. Humans naturally prefer talking in their native language. Speaking in a non-native language is very frustrating. She said she streams for fun, so she's obviously going to stream in her native language, which is most certainly English. The way she speaks English is also be very unnatural. ESLs don't randomly insert words and sentences in their native language into their speech. She's doing it because she's desperately trying convince her audience she's Japanese. She's faking her accent for the same reason. Although, it's actually not even a Japanese accent. Listen to any real Japanese speak English and you can tell the difference immediately.
So how did she get so good at Japanese? The answer is that she's a weeb who wants to be Japanese and has been studying their language and culture since she was a child. 4chan introduced her to Japanese culture when she was young, which is also why she wanted the 4chan audience. It's also why she idolizes Hiroyuki, the owner of 4chan. The Japanese people don't care about him at all, and you'd have to be a big weeb from 4chan to actually consider him as your idol. Very few Japanese even know about this site. There are just too many facts and probabilities piling up against her being Japanese.
It's obvious why she would want to lie about being Japanese, most people here are weebs who like watching Japanese chuubas. Some other /here/ chuubas have also told the same lie. She's also such a big weeb that she doesn't want to stop larping as a Japanese person.
I like Beatani and her streams, so I want to give her the benefit of doubt. While it's very clear she's not a native Japanese, there's a small chance that she might be a hafu, although I can't find any evidence supporting it. Mostly I'm just trying to cope because I can't believe she has lied to us for so long. It's true that she's very fluent at Japanese and that she's visited Japan, so maybe we can just ignore the fact that she's been deceiving us?
