But- fuck you're getting me started. There is a lot to speculate here.
We have not yet had a proper sample of these highlights to now how frequent they will be, or how many highlights are in production at this moment. Like I've said before. OLD AND LONG VODs require a fuckton more editing. So there is a possibility that they are in production and this was just a quickie.
Putting all that aside though, making highlights of recent streams is a good idea, even better than making highlights of old ones, since they are easier to make and serve a purpose for people who have to be more selective with streams now since EN2 is here. People who watch all of Ame's streams don't need these highlights. The focus is on people who watch Ame only occasionally. And there is a big time/cost/effort calculation that has to be done when Ame asks the highlighter to spend days and days in making highlights of some really old VODs. Now Smol Ame stream being rather highly viewed and short is not the best option, but it was probably easy and that's why it was done.
