What was the best era of vtubing? What even is the history of vtubing to you?

How I see it:

>2018: First wave of hololive vtubers come out (Fubuki is giga popular)
>2019: Rushia, Marine, Pekora, and Korone show up and all get giga popular(This is probably peak JP and when most people found out about vtubers)
>2020: Floodgates basically open with hololive EN gen 1, Gura and Ina are gigantic internet phenomenons(also nepolabo and holoID gen 1 and 2 but they're just ok)
>2021: Kiryu coco graduates, final JP wave comes out(as of now). Nijisanji EN all form in around 2 months, later in the year hololive EN gen 2 debut and are huge deals, also at the end of the year many indies like Amalee, Limealicious debut.
>2022: Probably peak Vtube(especially EN Vtube) with hololive, nijiEN, and many indie vtubers running at full steam, in addition to holocure and holoID gen 3 coming out. Also, many many indie debuts.
>2023: Nina kosaka graduates, Pikamee redebuts, Hololive EN wave 3 comes out(they're cool).
>2024: Pomu leaves then Selen fucking crashes NijisanjiEN and kills it, makes the "rainbow retirees" team of Matara Kan, Maid Mint, and Dokibird. Nijisanji EN is basically dead, wave 4 hololiveEN are here and they're cool, rainbow retirees are here, and even vshojo is just sorta chilling, but some of the oldest vtubers are straight up retiring or have dramatically winded down their activity.
