Honestly I don't remember being that excited by Council. I liked Mooms and Fauna eventually grew into my favorite but Advent and Justice both had multiple slam-dunks from day 1. However badly Cover may be fucking up, talent curation isn't part of it.

Council almost had 3 graduations since Kronii got close to leaving so they had more problems with management than any other gen in Hololive. Considering how many problems Myth had with management it might be more accurate to say that HoloEN was cursed. JP management never got along with the EN talents and it seems that like that is still true.

Reminder that they were scouted by Omegatroon for his pet project. He wanted a gen of largely normie girls to appeal to a broader audience and get a slice of Niji’s intergender streaming. They were never girls who loved the idea of becoming idols, all they wanted was an easy job pretending to be a cartoon girl for weebs, and even that was barely acceptable. Only two of them ever worked towards the mission of introducing Holostars into EN, and one of them did it purely to spite her audience. They were always a gen of selfish shitters who couldn’t please anyone but zombies.

What are you talking about? They were all relentlessly shat on. The hatred for council was so big that all the other corpos biggest gens were around the time of council's debut because everybody hated them. It was a 1/5 gen and that one was Kronii.
