The problem isn't that they have to be idols - the problem is they have to stop being streamers. Fauna wants to be both. The ones staying don't want to be just an idol.
This also explains why this affiliate shit exists. Cover can still sell your merch, and you can comeback. I'd imagine this would mean affiliates would likely not sing and dance and would probably just talk a little and then fuck off.
