Fauna never really hated Japan, but she hated the circumstances that came with the trip.
Fauna absolutely loves her cat(s); she treats them like her babies. Being away from Snail for a month was a huge struggle for her. Fauna would wake up at 6:30 in the morning to stream(she streamed for 14 days), go to her dance lessons or recordings, and then go to bed early so she could stream early again the next day.
Sometimes, she did go out with other girls, they did karaoke and even went to the Disney park with the JPs, but for the most part, she was working. The times she wasn’t working but felt homesick were especially hard. She couldn’t just talk to her parents because they’d be asleep, and the other Promise girls were busy, so they couldn’t meet up. Then there was the food situation: she was often living off rice balls or eating at the same restaurants because there weren’t many options.
In that one month she spent in Japan, she recorded for 16 songs.

Oh, and she got COVID for the second time. Management wanted to tweet about it, but Fauna refused because she didn’t want to worry the Saplings. A few months after she came back, while talking about her health insurance, she mentioned how the emergency hospital visit due to long COVID was very expensive. It was that serious.
Japan was a miserable experience for her, but she doesn’t hate Japan—she hated that particular trip. She often talks about how beautiful Kyoto is and how great the fashion is. I could probably find timestamps for this, but I’m too tired.
Fauna does not hate Japan.
